I'll be co-odinating the Ballad Swap at 1:30 in the Petersen Conference Center.  shis year promises to be one of the exciting ever with a stage full of singers ranging in age from 15 to 93.  This is one of the few old-time ballad swaps  left at  North Carolina festivals now.  Mr. Lunsford was an avid "love Song" collector and always promoted and protected our WNC Ballad Tradition.  Don't miss it!

Come sit in this beautiful chapel with angelic acoustics while we enjoy photographs, songs and stories of the wonderful singers and musicians who became my mentors.  Usually there are several family members and well known ballad singers who show up and add their experiences and stories of these wonderful people who are always with us in spirit.

Come early and bring a picnic lunch to enjoy in the magical place before the program.
